Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Varna By Aarya ("Varna", "we", "us", "our") is a proprietorship-owned online store operating exclusively through this website — we do not currently have a physical retail store. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or shop with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information we collect

When you browse our site, create an account, or place an order, we may collect:

• Your full name
• Shipping and billing address
• Phone number
• Email address
• Payment information, processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay

We do not directly store your card, UPI, or net banking credentials on our servers — payments are handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process, confirm, and fulfil your orders
• Arrange shipping and delivery through our courier partner, Delhivery
• Communicate with you about your order — confirmations, dispatch, and delivery updates
• Respond to your questions and provide customer support
• Send you marketing updates, offers, and new arrivals over email (see Section 6 below)
• Measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising through Google Ads
• Detect and prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions

4. Who we share your information with

We share your information only where necessary to run our business and fulfil your order, specifically with:

• Razorpay — to process your payment securely
• Delhivery — to ship and deliver your order to you
• Google Ads — for analytics and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising

We do not sell or rent your personal information to any third party. We only share what each of the above partners genuinely needs to perform their service for us.

5. Cookies

We do not currently use cookies on this website. If this changes in the future — for example, to support cart or session functionality — we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Marketing communications

We may use your email address to send you marketing updates, including new arrivals, festive offers, and promotions. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails, or by writing to us at info@varnabyaarya.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to your orders.

7. Data storage and security

Your personal information is stored securely, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While we work to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us, subject to our legal and business record-keeping requirements (for example, invoices and tax records, which we are required to retain).

9. Children's privacy

Our website and products are intended for use by individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
